Yolanda Griffith

Yolanda Griffith American professional basketball hall of fame player who played in both the American Basketball League and the WNBA. Griffith won two olymipcs gold medals and a seventh-time WNBA all star. She is considered one of the greatest rebounders and defensive players. Since retiring from the professional ranks, she has been involved in coaching at the Division I collegiate level. Yolanda accepted an assistant coach position with Ivy League university.

In this video/ commercial NJEA is launching a campaign that features Channell Perry and she tells the story of her being a star athlete and honor student at Brimm Medical Arts High School in Camden New Jersey. She has a full scholorship to play basketball, study sports business, or sports medicine at Clemson University.

Experienced Transfer

Northern Arizona women's basketball team added an experienced player Monique Mudler to there 2014-15 roster. She's a point guard. She going to be a junior this season after doing two years at  NMJC. She's 5'3, very talented going to be a good pick for Northern Arizona.

 


Ninth National Championship

Geno Auriemma and UConn reached the top of women's college basketball after winning a record ninth national championship. Notre Dame is a great team but they was defeated by UConn 79-58.

Top Scores are Leaving

Tina Thompson and Katie Smith the top two scores in the W.N.B.A. are retiring at the end of season. The reason why they are heading into retirement is because its hard to make sure your body is ready to go through the season and their body aches.

 

Saved A Team

Paul Madison made it clear that the Sparks should be looking for a new owner. Magic Johnson and Mark Walter, became the owners of a W.N.B.A. Los Angelos Sparks that was in danger of folding or moving to another city.
